Before my purchase I checked out a number of catalog sites and one in particular with mixed reviews to the point where I was willing to gamble on purchasing one over Amazon.

--Made a big difference for my baguettes--
Before I had this I was trying to proof my loafs on all sorts of different materials with no success. I always ended up with the dough sticking and the result was mangled loaves. With this cloth there was no sticking and I finally got some really good looking baguettes.
--The real deal--
I have been thinking about buying this item for a while. I usually would use *** for my specialty baking supply. After reading the mixed reviews of a similar item at the *** website, I decided to wait for a more authentic cloth made in Europe. I am glad I waited until I saw this one. After my order arrived, I was delighted to discover the high quality of this cloth. The edge looks so clean and the material has enough weight to stay easily in shape, unlike what people said about the cheaper alternative that might have rough edge and is hard to hold its shape.
